I should like to place on record how excellent the Probus & Roseland and Clays Teams were in looking after my late mother, Mrs. Jane Rowe, over the last two weeks of her life. She spent about three weeks in Bodmin Hospital -- where her care was excellent and she had nothing but praise for the staff -- and after being discharged in mid-September wished to end her days at home in Gerrans / Portscatho. There she was tended to by both teams of nurses, all of whom were delightful, charming and with a most cheerful manner, such that it was a huge comfort to me to know my mother was being looked after so well whenever they came round.
She passed away in the small hours of Friday, but I cannot imagine her being looked after and cared for in a better way. After she passed I was extremely grateful too for how kind and supportive the Nurses were to me.
I should also like to thank the Marie Curie South West Nursing Team and the CHAOS Stay at Home Teams as well.
We must all end our days at some time, but I shall always be able to look back and know her final days were just as she wanted them to be.
Thank you.
