"Support That Made All the Difference"

During a very challenging time after the birth of my second child, I was referred to the Hereford Perinatal Mental Health Team. I didn’t know what to expect, but from the very first contact, I felt listened to and understood.

The team were incredibly supportive, offering both practical advice and emotional reassurance. My care coordinator was kind, patient, and always made time to check in with me, even when I felt I had nothing positive to say. The sessions helped me understand what I was going through and gave me tools to manage my anxiety and low mood.

What stood out most was how the team treated me with dignity and respect. They never made me feel judged, and they worked with me to build a plan that felt achievable and tailored to my needs.

Thanks to their support, I’ve started to feel like myself again. I’m so grateful for the care I received and would encourage anyone struggling to reach out. The difference it made to me and my family was truly life-changing.
