About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

I took my mum to ED due to cardiac concerns. The department was extremely busy , under huge pressures with very long waits - over 20 hours when we arrived .

The staff where excellent from reception to triage and medical staff.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Dr Nitin( think that is correct) , he was very thorough and professional and explained everything very clearly and what tests where needed and why. Once we had been seen by Dr Nitin, everything went quickly and smoothly and my mum was reassured, a referral made to the cardiac clinic and on our way home . 

Please pass on our gratitude and appreciation to all staff in ED on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, they are under such pressure especially this time of year and we are grateful for the care and attention my mum received whilst in ED.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to post about your experience in ED. I am so glad that your mum received the standard of care and attention that we expect all of our patients to have when in ED.

I have shared your kind words with the Dr, and all of the team that were on shift On Tuesday and Wednesday. Positive feedback like this is great for staff morale and they will be delighted to read your post.
