Maternity unit in paisley, ended up as an emergency c section. In major major pain and discharged 24 hours after my c section, I was absolutely not in a fit state to leave, I was bleeding heavily and couldn’t even move to go to the toilet, this may also have been due to the fact that from 5am till 4:30pm when I was discharged I repeatedly asked for my painkillers that I was due and each time I was told they would be right back with them, I never got them once
I was kept on the labour ward as there was no beds elsewhere so this may have played into the reason as to why my care was so so poor.
Asked for help multiple times to go to the toilet and change the baby as I was in so much pain and I was told I'll have to get used to doing this myself for when I'm at home. This left me speechless as I was in absolute agony.
There is more and more reasons as to why I was shocked with how poor the care was but I could write thousands of words on this
"Poor care"
