I have just completed a 18 month Community Payback Order with East Kilbride Justice Team.
During this time I had the opportunity to attend the Women's Hub and Venture Trust. Unfortunately I was not able to go the Venture Trust as they offered a trip away and I had no-one to look after my dog.
Both supervision and the Womens Hub were helpful as I was able to get support and to vent off about things happening. It was helpful to hear about other peoples experiences at the Hub and hear how they dealt with things.
I was supported to link in with other services - nurses who arranged appts for me, money matters. I got a 1 month gym pass and did yoga classes.
My workers helped me to speak to housing and the anti social behaviour team when I was having appointments and finding it difficult to manage myself.
I was supported to change appointments when my mental health was bad or was away for a while to help with this.
My order helped me to look at myself and see where i could try to get better. Being able to vent at appointments helped me to see how i could do things better.
I cant think of anything I would change.
"Helpful and supportive"
