"care that made me feel safe"

I have been having cancer treatment at BCH and have been an inpatient on numerous occasions.  Over the last weekend I was admitted with high fever and infection. My nurse at night was Bonnie. Nurse Bonnie went above and beyond to make me feel better.  She was very attentive and caring. Nurse Bonnie wrapped me in an extra blanket on the night I was extremely feverish and tucked me in - this action alone made me feel cared for and in the right hands. Nurse Bonnie deserves to be thanked and congratulated on her attitude and commitment to providing care that made me feel safe and supported while I was ill and vulnerable.
