I had a heart attack and attended A&E at the Ayr hospital. Paramedics were waiting outside with patients at the time and commenced to assess me.
The care and treatment I received was incredible at the A&E department.
I lost count of the number of doctors and nurses who treated me and saved my life. The speed and skill of response was incredible and the kindness heartwarming.
Paramedics then took me to Hairmyres Hospital and again showed me such kindness and genuinely cared about me and their job.
I will be forever grateful to all involved who are a credit to the NHS and their profession.
