"Difficulties contacting the service"

About: Neurodiversity Services / Doncaster ADHD team

(as a service user),

I am disappointment and frustration with the Doncaster Adult Neurodiversity Service. My experience with this team has been extremely discouraging. When I contact the service for help, I rarely receive a call back — instead, I am sent a generic text message referring to sickness levels in the team.

This lack of communication and support has left me feeling powerless. It seems that unless I become very unwell, nothing will happen. I already have involvement from other services I use and they have struggled to get a response from this team.

I am trying to engage and get help, but feel there is an absence of care, communication, and follow-up from the service which is demoralising. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to an improvement in how the Doncaster Adult Neurodiversity Service supports people who are reaching out for help.

Hi I am Jo the Manager for the team. Firstly can I begin by offering my apologies regarding your concerns with the communication difficulties you have had in trying to contact the team. If you could email your name date of birth and a quick sentence regarding the time of your issues to the below generic email I will look into this for and inform you of the outcome.
