"Treatment of LGBTQ woman in mental health services"

About: Livewell Southwest

(as a service user),

Since the day the mental health services found out I was a member of the LGBTQ community, I feel they have completely abandoned me. It seems to me that they seen my pride flag up and within days completely dropped me from the service. I suddenly received a letter saying that they had discharged me but they would not state why. I tried to contact them and left messages but I was unable to get a reply. I was put on antipsychotics even though I was told I could actually be autistic. They put me on the autism assessment waiting list, which I have been on since early 2022. I have been passed from one place to another and they will not make reasonable adjustments for my autism. It has been such a nightmare getting help that I am now so desperate I have to try to leave the city. I feel that everything I say is ignored and twisted but they will not allow me to record the meetings.
