"Excellent care received"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / End of life care

(as a relative),

My Dad was admitted with a chest infection and Parkinson's end of Sept. He started on AMU, spent a few days in Clyst Ward and was then transferred to Bovey Ward where he sadly passed away.

My heartfelt thanks go to the amazing Nursing team on Bovey Ward. The level of care an  compassion they showed my Dad, myself, friends and relatives was outstanding.

A big thank you also to all the other teams behind the scenes that also do the most amazing jobs; domestics, catering team, dieticians, SALT, MCA, activities coordinator and the ward clerks. You all helped to create a safe and caring environment for my Dad and for this I am truly grateful.

I am sorry to hear that your dad passed away. I am grateful that you have taken the time to comment on the care that you and your Dad received. I hope the compassion shown gave you some comfort. I will pass on your kind words to the team.
