"Removal of embedded splinter"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Plastic surgery

(as the patient),

Was treated by Shwetha and her team in the Plastic surgery department, it was the end of a journey which started in the ED where I had been referred by 111 due to the risk of the splinter becoming embedded.

Had great care from Shwetha’s team who got the splinter out and treated a bit of infection in the area of the splinter. So very pleased that the splinter is now out of my leg.
