"Notes didn't reflect what was said in the appointment"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Diabetic medicine

(as a service user),

Had a good constructive appointment with my consultant.

Several weeks later received the letter they sent to my GP through MyCare.

I had spoken to them about my unhappiness about my increasing weight now tipping the scales at 100kg. I explained how my portions are not huge. I try to low carb to help with insulin control. I explained that having a busy lifestyle I'd like to just make a sandwich and eat that with a bit of fresh fruit for lunch but doing this causes my weight to spiral upwards. It is exhausting the amount of time I have to spend cooking and preparing weird meals in order for weight to come off, and only then tiny amounts. I asked for help, I am desperate for help, I'm crying with frustration and fear writing this. All they wrote in the letter regarding the 20 minute conversation was that I needs to lose weight and that portion control discussed. I mean really?  Some days all I eat is a egg salad sandwich. It feels like they won't they listen or believe and didn't do any research as to why?
