"Very very satisfied with my care"

I cut my thumb rather badly at home, I arrived at the hospital to get it checked where I was greeted by a lovely lady on the desk. She took my details and said that I would be seen as soon as possible but that I could be waiting some time, as my injury was not life threatening I happy with this. 

I waiting in the royal Alexandra hospital a&e for less than 30 mins to be seen. I was seen by a lovely emergency nurse practitioner named Michelle who was very warm, caring and good humoured.

She asked me about how I managed my injury and we had some banter about my being more careful washing knifes.

She saw to my needs, giving me local anaesthetic so she could check my cut to ensure it was clean and checked my thumb for any nerve damage. When Michelle was satisfied she informed me that I would require some sutures, she was efficient quick and amazing, you could tell that she was greatly experienced and had a love for the job.

When she was done suturing me she gave me some pain killers to take away to use as and when. 

I left the hospital less than an hour after I attended feeling much better and very very satisfied with my care.
