About: Emergency Medicine / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I received at your Accident and Emergency Department recently.

I had a significant cycling accident that resulted in a deep laceration on my right shin. After phoning 999 and being informed of a 50-minute ambulance wait, I made my way to the hospital.

Despite the circumstances, I was seen within 20 minutes of my arrival. The nurse, Pauline, and the consultant, Africa, were both incredibly professional and provided first-class service. My wound was thoroughly cleaned and stitched with great care.

The service and care I received were truly outstanding, and I am very grateful to Pauline and Africa for their expertise and kindness.

I am sorry to hear that you had an accident on your bike, leading you to come to the Emergency Department for review and closure of your wound. I am glad that you did not have to wait long to be seen, and that you found the care and experience first class.
