"She listened and was caring and very sympathetic"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Speech and Language Therapy

(as the patient),

My speech therapist helped me to find the cause of my swallowing problem.

Her "bedside manner" both in person and over the phone was excellent.

She listened and was caring and very sympathetic. I had an X-ray then another appointment with a different Speech Therapist who gave me an exercise to do.

She too was very kind and explained it well.

I since requested another appointment with my own Speech Therapist as I wasn't sure if I was to be seen again and wanted to update her on how things were. She assured me to continue with all the advice given from her and the other therapist. I felt listened to, understood and cared for. She responded quickly to the appointment request that was sent via another professional.
