"Day surgery and overnight stay"

I was admitted to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for Day Surgery for ENT work. I was met by a wonderful nurse, Nichola, who listened to my fears. She was a fabulous lady who booked me in, she was so kind, warm and compassionate. Ensured I was comfortable and ready to go ahead. Came back round later to the ward check on me.

Next day was on ward and I as so upset she sat with me until I had calmed down. Staff Nurse Amy was my nurse during the day and Staff Nurse Megan was night shift. Both were incredible, were genuinely interested in the changes that have happened to me and how they could best help. They took the time to ask about my pain and help manage it. They were absolutely lovely, really kind and made for the job they do.
