My daughter had a bad tackle at rugby and we had to take her to A&E at Hairmyers Hospital. We didn’t wait too long and was seen by a nurse called Stacey in triage. Stacey was excellent and made my daughter feel comfortable, took her time explaining what would happen and asked her if she had any questions. She gave her pain relief.
We then went to X-ray and the radiographer again was excellent, sorry did not get his name. We sat back round in triage for a wee while and a nurse call Carol Anne met with us and showed my daughter her X-ray.
Unfortunately she had broken her collar bone. Carol Anne took her time with my daughter and explained what would happen next. She again was very caring and attentive to her.
I find so many people complain about the NHS but just wanted to say how professional and caring your staff were today. Can you thank them very much for me. My daughter and I will be forever grateful.
Kindest regards
"The excellent care my daughter received"
