"We were kept informed at all stages"

About: Ear, Nose & Throat / Ward 26 Ninewells Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter suffered chemical burns during a hairdressers appointment and attended A&E last week. She was seen promptly, and treatment started quickly. She was admitted to a side room in Ward 26, where she received fabulous care from the whole team. She was seen by a number of consultants who all seemed to work together to get her the care she needed. A skin graft was carried out. We were kept informed at all stages and all staff treated my daughter with utmost care and kindness throughout her stay.

A huge thanks to everyone who was involved, Dr's, surgeons, anaesthetist, nursing staff and support staff.

We still have a long road ahead, but hopefully the most scary bit is over. My daughter said that she didn't know that there were so many kind people in the hospital.

Thank you.
