"After birth survival with Bipolar disorder"

Early October my baby girl was born. Thanks to labour suite, they made my not so easy journey in most precious, professional and safe way possible. I felt like in 5 star hotel with all included. 

Unfortunately, moving forward to Neonatal ward, my everyday nightmare started slightly fortunate but increased in problems all day along. Knowing my disorder, nobody took into account that I might not make it with my baby girl. I might have gone mad or start screaming and might have not be able to coop with caring for my baby. I stayed in this ward for almost two weeks. One problem after another problem came along, for example, my daughter was put under light due to Jaundice. 

What can I say. There is only one way to solve this incident in further future by staff members. And I don't think some staff should help with just born babies and just operated mums after such a hard job. Although they might have gone through a long learning processes by themselves, I don't think they fully qualified. 

Why me writing this. Just to clarify I would like that this doesn't happen again and again with women with Bipolar Disorder. I needed and feel others might need a lot of serious supervision under group of midwives and well calculated daily plan between paediatrics and selection of professional midwifery. 

Thank you for still trying to help me during my journey. A massive thank you to two Sarah's midwifes for making may days passing by much easier and at ease. They are amazing people and amazing professional who are very determined in this process with actually 2 patients: mama and baby. Not only one person. There are 2 patients. I wish those people above NHS system would see this hard work themselves by visiting more often all wards like that in all UK. 

Also massive thanks to one particular lady, also a very intelligent and the nicest woman I have ever met in my entire lifetime. She is a gold to me and I believe that also to rest of the women in this Ward. The only problem, I can't remember her full name. But she is one of the highest in this role.
