"Grantham Endoscopy Unit"

I needed a colonoscopy investigation and was given the appointment at Grantham. I was of course a little anxious, but those concerns were quickly evaporated when I started to meet the team

From my initial admission with the nurse , meeting the team in the ward and the doctors and nurses in the procedure room , I could not have been made to feel more at ease and supported 

The team walked me through everything that was going to happen , gave me lots of opportunities to ask questions and were pleasant and warm at every step

The team in the procedure room led by Mr Kho were again exceptional , explaining what was going to happen and talking to me throughout the procedure to keep me at ease.

Having completed the procedure the team back in the ward talked me through the report and gave me ample opportunity to ask questions but to be honest they covered everything in detail I couldn’t think of anything else to add that they had missed.

All in all I have to say that the whole team at the unit are a credit to the NHS and to Lincolnshire United Trust , we are so lucky to have such dedicated people looking after our best health interests and this team exemplify that.
