I was advised by my GP that I needed to attend the Queen Margaret Hospital for a Colonoscopy procedure. I was a bit apprehensive as would many others of my age (69).
Fortunately for me, the Team in the Endoscopy Dept that day were of the highest calibre of Patient Care. I will not name names as that may be inappropriate, they will know who they are.
I fond the NHS as an organisation is and easy target for some in the media and others, but I always keep in mind the criticism aimed at the NHS can have a detrimental effect on the staff at the front line who are doing a fantastic job dealing with patients in their darkest moments.
I will end my story by saying a million thanks to the staff that day.
"A million thanks to the staff"
