"Podiatry appointment"

About: Lothian Community Services / Podiatry

(as a service user),

During my visit, I encountered a few issues that left me quite dissatisfied. Firstly, I felt that the podiatrist's  manner was unexpectedly rude and condescending. Instead of feeling understood and cared for, I felt as though my concerns were dismissed and not given the attention they deserved. This behavior is not something I would expect from a professional in the nhs.

Furthermore, throughout the consultation, I did not feel involved in the development of my treatment plan. As a patient, feeling included and informed about my health plan is very important to me. Unfortunately, I left the appointment with concerns and uncertainties that should have been addressed adequately during our discussion.

Due to these issues, I found it necessary to call back and request an appointment with another podiatrist. This experience has caused me inconvenience and dissatisfaction.
