"He was a revelation"

About: Bideford Hospital / Therapies

(as the patient),

I attended the Bideford Physiotherapy Dept over a number of months with a very sore shoulder, I was always treated very well but we didn’t make a great deal of progress with my problem, some of the team were very early in there career, so little experience.

Eventually I was seen by Mr Chan who was a revelation, knew exactly what to do and advised me according, at last progress was made and my pain was a much more manageable level. I am very pleased, he has almost resolved a very long standing problem and should be congratulated for doing what others could not manage, also on top of that he’s a very polite individual and that means a lot to me, thank you

Hi sierrakd45,

Thank you so much for your feedback, I'm glad you got the appropriate support you needed for your shoulder. I also appreciate your patience after not initially seeing progress, often these symptoms can persist which can be disheartening. It sounds like Sam looked after you very well, I will be sure to feed back to him as its sounds like he managed your case very well clinically but also with kindness.

Good luck with your onward recovery, best wishes,

Sam
