"Prostate Cancer Radiotherapy"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiotherapy

(as the patient),

Following regular PSA tests over the last few years which eventually became elevated to a level where it was decided a scan was advised. That scan showed evidence of possible cancer. A biopsy was taken and this confirmed early prostate cancer. It was decided the optimum treatment for me was external radiotherapy which has now been completed.

Throughout this whole process I have been looked after extremely well and am very grateful to everyone involved in my care for their efficiency, kindness and professionalism.
