"Visual seizure"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neuro-radiology Royal Alexandra Hospital / Neurology

(as the patient),

At the end of August I experienced a slight visual disturbance and was initially referred to TIA clinic who changed it to First Seizure Clinic with a 29 week waiting list. Since then I have had a clear CT and MRI Scan and a diagnosis of insufficient Vitamin B12. This deficiency explains my symptoms and I have had no recurring symptoms but I still need to wait for First Seizure clinic appointment which is unlikely to be until March 2026.

I am adding to an already lengthy waiting list when it would appear my symptoms are nothing to do with seizures. The inability to drive is having a detrimental effect on my psychologically and I feel that if someone could actually review my notes they may deem I am no longer required to be on the list.
