A new system is in place for booking my repeat monthly blood tests.
Last month once my results were back I got a call from the GP practice and advised about medication and booked me in for my next appointment all under 2 minutes.
Recently I rang CTAC hub - it took 6 minutes for the phone to be answered and then 3 minutes to book my next test.
This is 5 times as long as the previous system, which is not an improvement.
I am disappointed and know many others especially elderly and working people like myself will find the extra time taken to arrange difficult.
