As someone who works in the hospital I know and see how hard the staff in A&E work and how incredibly busy it is. So a trip there with my son with a nasty gash to his head was not something I wanted to be doing late last night.
However from the moment we went in, the staff were so helpful. The receptionist took his details and we waited to get seen. After a short time we were taken to triage where a nurse assessed & reassured him. He was then taken by a Doctor who was very good with him and quickly treated his injury. We were in and out in 1 hr. I’m extremely thankful to everyone involved.
