"Sensory disability services"

Bernarde, who is the environmental Equipment Officer visited my husband and I because of my husband's hearing loss . 

She quickly established the situational difficulties for both of us, in terms of communication, as my husband has difficulty picking up what I say to him . She installed 2 pieces of equipment  to make our lives easier . She was patient  in explaining how to use them ,very efficient. ( I'm 81 ) they offered to come back again if we needed  further assistance  in using them . She checked the previously installed special smoke alarm and updated advice . 

Bernarde also left full contact details for us ,which was very reassuring.  She also requested that I contact after 2 weeks to let her know how we are managing  the new technology.
