"I feel there should be a menopause clinic or specialist"

I requested a face to face consultation with a menopause empathetic doctor to discuss intermittent high blood pressure and many menopause related issues.

I was booked in for a telephone consultation.

The male doctor (who sounded young) did not wish to discuss anything other than the blood pressure. Pick a symptom. Any symptom...and treat it in isolation.

I asked if I should try coming off HRT as I was experiencing anxiety and racing heart. He simply said I can stop it if I want.

I do not feel reassured.

I feel there should be a menopause clinic or specialist who is prepared to discuss more than on thing at a time and look at the bigger picture.
