"Does an excellent job"

Given the amount of criticism I see general practice currently receiving, I wish to put on record the excellent service I have recently received from the Avenue House Surgery in Chesterfield, which I consulted about what I feared might be a serious problem.

I saw a doctor without delay, who explained what the problem might be and how he prosposed to investigate it, did so, and then asked me to return to hear his conclusions. This all happened within three weeks. I have nothing but praise for the service received, which has been the case on other occasions when I have seen either a doctor or a nurse at the practice. Avenue House is a large and busy practice service over 20,000 patients in Chesterfield, and as far as I can see it does an excellent job.
