"Wonderful supportive midwife"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

(as the patient),

My labour happened very quickly back in July and Robyn was amazing. My baby boy came premature at 36 weeks and I had a rapid labour. My midwife Robyn stayed with me and my partner the whole time in the delivery room and explained everything clearly step by step helping us to be calm throughout. She made sure that I was comfortable and always asked my permission to do observations etc before messing with me encase I was uncomfortable or having contractions at that time. Robyn asked how I would like my labour to go to ensure I had the best experience.

She not only made me comfortable but my partner as well and helped him to dress our little one for the first time as he was so tiny. She helped us prepare for our little one to enter the world. Robyn never left our side once until she delivered us to the ward with all the new mums and ensured we were comfortable before leaving us.

Thank you so much for delivering our baby boy safely .

Thank you for sharing your lovely feedback. We’re so pleased to hear that Robyn helped you feel calm, supported and cared for throughout your rapid labour and the safe arrival of your baby boy. Your kind words will mean so much to her and the team.

All the best,

Dionne
