"They were absolutely phenomenal"

I accompanied my son to Monklands to get an operation this morning towards the end of Oct 25 at 7am and had a very nice welcome from staff.

All the staff in the day surgery were absolutely phenomenal! From the surgeon to the anaesthetist, healthcare support workers and nurses, nothing was too much trouble. 3 workers stood out though, Stacey, Christina and Grace. These 3 ladies could not do enough for my son, myself and others in the unit we shared a room with.

Their bedside manner, kindness, care and compassion really showed what the NHS stands for. They put my sons nerves at ease and mine with being an anxious mum, they explained everything thoroughly and made the time to come and check up on us to see if we were ok or if we needed anything else.

I will never forget how much they went above and beyond for us and seeing how they approached other patients and parents in the same manner showed to me that they are absolutely in the perfect job!

Well done ladies, we are so extremely grateful for you and all that you do! I just thought I would take the time to recognise these wonderful ladies.
