I was diagnoses with advanced double kidney cancer in May 2025 after I was seen for something else. The hospital failed all 2 week wait targets and to me, did not appear to care.
However, after a biopsy and a date for surgery to remove the worst of the two I went in recently and had fantastic clinical support throughout and left hospital after two days to await a date for a partial removal of the second kidney elsewhere ULTH does not have the necessary skill set.
Can't praise the NHS enough. Except for the outpatients delays it was great.
