"Excellent care and very responsive"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Upper GI

(as the patient),

I was in hospital to have a gastric bypass and was placed on the Tor Ward for my recovery. It was a very busy ward and had some complex characters for patients. However I could not fault the care I or others received whilst I was in there. Specific mentions are for Ryan (Night Staff), who could not do anymore for you and went above and beyond at all times. Diane couldn’t have been more welcoming and she would willingly do anything for me (except make me a mixed grill). Abi (wearing Exeter university uniform) was a delight and a very competent and caring individual.

Overall my experience here was excellent and I am leaving hospital after 1 nights stay a very happy man.

Also, the gentleman who settled me into surgery, and stayed with me until I drifted off was the most funny and caring man I have met!! Thank you all!

Dear Disney Finatic

Thank you so much for contacting Care Opinion with your kind words. It is lovely to know that your experience on Tor Ward was such a positive one.

Please be assured your feedback will be shared with Ryan, Diane, Abi, and the surgical team member who supported you before your procedure.

It is heart-warming to know you felt well cared for and that your overall experience was excellent.

Sending all good wishes for a speedy recovery.

Kind regards

Sarah
