About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Day Surgery

Was admitted as trauma emergency for bone surgery. I was a bit nervous and sore but my nurse Sarah put me at ease.

All my nurses and surgeons throughly explained my surgery, my aftercare was also done brilliantly. All the nurses are friendly and caring making sure you get any help when needed. I did feel my surgeon wasn't treated very nice by a plaster room staff member when they took me to prep for surgery but I do feel hairmyres gives exceptional treatment overall.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience while having a procedure done due to a trauma which required surgery at Hairymyres hospital.

I am delighted to hear that you fel that the nurses took time to explain your surgery and you felt cared for and could get help when you required this. I will share this with the staff, including your nurse Sarah.
