"Excellent service"

Due to chronic pain in my right hand my GP referred me for an xray at Whiteabbey Hospital. I was xrayed and on the way out I decided to call unannounced to the fracture clinic where I had previously attended over a year ago. I asked Amy for a replacement hand splint as my old one was of no more use due to wear and tear. Amy was very patient and tried two different splints on before getting the right one. The clinic wasn't running that afternoon but she was very helpful and courteous towards me. I thanked her when I left but sometimes it's nice to get a written compliment to allow Senior management know how valued our care staff  on the ground are. I know...I work for the NHS.
