"Full marks to the whole staff"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Scared -never had a general anaesthetic (and I’m in my 70s) and only once been in hospital for an operation (local jags) - 28 years ago.

From the minute I entered the Day Surgery 11-45 for noon) till I left at 7-45pm (okay I was a long time waiting but some people were likely in more serious conditions than mine so not a problem) I had nothing but the best attention. I think I met from the reception till I left with my daughter around 12 members of staff and they were all attentive, made me feel easier and discussed my fears and the procedure to come.

Full marks to the whole staff and the yea and toast excellent.

The procedure was done and I woke up feeling great - no after effects although I knew I needed to stay for recovery (and the tea and toast and the necessary ablutions before I hit away.

But my fears were unfounded (but didn’t stop my previous 3 week nightmares from happening. I think the staff were happy to get a wimp for a change.. 😉😉

Thanks to whole staff.
