"Experience at patient at Vale of Leven Day Surgery unit"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as the patient),

I am writing as a Health Care Professional myself working within NHS, to feedback on the excellent Care at received at Surgical Day Bed Unit. Vale of Leven yesterday.

My procedure was Lens Replacement .

From the time of my arrival to departure the staff were all wonderful ; really professional , warm ,welcoming ,caring and personal.

I also observed their care of the other patients and they had the same consistent approach to each individual ,taking time with more incapacitated clients .

I want to use this to encourage that particular team, as I am aware that often positive feedback is not expressed and I feel they deserve to be recognised for all they do.

Thank you to Kirsty in particular.

I would like to thank you very much for taking the time to complete the care opinion and for your extremely kind words.

It is so nice to hear you felt our staff were professional, warm, welcoming, caring and treated you personally, it is very reassuring for the staff and they will appreciate your response and continue to be motivated to provide the best service we can.

I would also like to thank you for mentioning that the other patients were treated the same way you were as this will also motivate the staff to continue the excellent job we strive to provide.

I will ensure all staff will be able to read your care opinion and I know they will be thankful for you taking the time to respond.

I will also ensure Kirsty has a copy of the care opinion which will no doubt please her immensely and for Kirsty and the team, positive opinions are a great reassurance to the team and reiterate the great job they all do on a daily basis.
