"Emergency treatment for brain haemorrhage"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66)

(as a relative),

My wife had a brain haemorrhage and was rushed into the hospital. After triage she was put in ward 64 of the QEUH (institute for neurological science) her treatment and care has been exemplary. Ward 64 has been open and friendly to both my wife as a patient and myself who has spent a great deal of time in the ward.

Dear tangogq46

Thank you so much for taking this time to tell us about the exemplary care your wife has received from the team in ward 64. This is exactly the person-centred care we strive to provide to our patients and their families, and hearing from you will mean so much to the team. I will ensure your feedback is shared with the ward team - it will make their day!

Best wishes for your wife's recovery,

Pamela (Philp)

Lead Nurse Neurosurgery & OMFS
