"Showed me kindness and compassion"

About: Kidderminster Hospital

(as the patient),

I had to have dental surgery under general anaesthetic due to my phobia of needles, from the second I walked into the hospital I felt understood and supported, I had the most amazing nurse, Rach, who was there for me every step of the day, she made me feel heard and understood and I do not believe I would have made it through my surgery so smoothly and comfortably without her, truly made the whole experience amazing, I have been met with impatience and people who do not understand my phobia from the NHS before in different hospitals so my opinion has always been closed off to wanting to engage with hospital staff, however Rach has changed that for me, showing me kindness and compassion, truly an asset to Kidderminster hospital.
