My son was referred to NHSL Paedatric Community Nursing team following a stay in PICU and then Neuro ward in the Royal Hospital for Children. The team were in contact instantly to introduce themselves and organise the first visit. He has been under them since July and the care he has had to date has been amazing. Visits were co-ordinated to suit our schedule, the nursing team were great with my son, always extremely helpful and informative of the results/any questions we had. Thankfully he no longer requires input from the team and is on the mend but they have made the journey for 2 worried parents easier. Special thank you to Hannah - she has made a little boy very happy with bringing stickers to every visit & a special treat for him and his sister on her final visit.
