I recently visited the QUB GUM Clinic as I had symptoms of genital herpes. I’d never visited a GUM clinic before and I was so nervous, but the staff were all so lovely and really put me at ease. They took the time to explain my symptoms and my infection, they gave me the treatment on the same day, and were just so quick and efficient.

Within a week I had my results and was invited back to discuss them which let me ask any questions and talk about how it might impact me in the future. I can’t speak highly enough about the doctors who tested me and also went through my results.

They were incredibly caring and put me fully at ease, there was absolutely zero judgement, and they were so kind to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service as it was outstanding. They really help remove the stigma surrounding sexual health, and it is so refreshing to see.
