"Appreciation to everyone who helped in my recovery"

About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a service user),

On a Sunday early Oct I was taken to hospital by 2 very competent ambulance staff after a fainting incident in my home. The dept was extremely busy but I was seen by the nursing staff ASAP, after being seen I fainted again and found myself in a cubical in A and E surrounded by doctor and nursing staff, over the next 3/4 days the treatment I received from all staff including ancillary was excellent. The pressure that the staff work under is unreal. Would just like to register my sincere appreciation to everyone who helped in my recovery.

Hello beidrq33

My name is Victoria McCrory and I am the Assistant Clinical Services Manager for Causeway ED. I am sorry to hear that you have recently been unwell and had to attend the department for assessment and treatment.

I am delighted to hear that whilst attending the dept you had a positive experience, and received a high standard of care.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this positive feedback and for acknowledging the pressures which staff face. Positive feedback helps boost staff morale and remind them of the great care they continue to deliver. I will ensure your feedback is shared with all staff in the unit, and I know it will be appreciated.

I wish you a strong recovery

Yours Sincerely

Victoria McCrory
