"Post tonsilectomy complications"

About: Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as a service user),

I had a recent tonsilectomy and a few days post surgery had to be admitted to the head and neck unit (ENT) Victoria hospital

The care from the team from arriving to discharge was exceptional and I was made to feel safe and well cared for

The nurses were knowledgeable and tentative and made sure all was well during my stay - and they made good toast 😊

Thank you to all the team for the care I received - it is greatly appreciated

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience following your recent tonsillectomy and admission to the ENT Head and Neck Unit at Victoria Hospital. We’re delighted to hear that you felt safe, well cared for, and supported throughout your stay.

Your kind words about the nursing team’s attentiveness and knowledge are greatly appreciated, and I’m sure they’ll be especially pleased to hear the toast was a highlight too! Feedback like yours means a lot to the team and reinforces the importance of compassionate, high-quality care.

Wishing you a continued and smooth recovery, and thank you again for your thoughtful message.

Lisa
