"Grateful for the nurses"

About: Integrated Community Services Service Delivery Unit / Malvern Neighbourhood Team

(as a relative),

My Mother has been receiving care from the nurses as she has an ulcer on her leg due to cellulitis. Although occasionally she has complained that a nurse has been rough when taking off the old dressings I don't feel there is anything to worry about as she over 100 and likes to complain!

I am grateful that the nurses contact the Doctor if necessary as I have severe hearing loss and find it extremely difficult to use the phone.

Many thanks for sharing your story with us and highlighting both good and occasionally not so good points about our service. Both points can be used for learning purposes within the team.
