Myself and my husband were admitted to Ward 6 following another pregnancy loss. Unfortunately this was our fourth loss so this admission was very difficult and traumatic to experience. I was looked after by a gynaecologist called Dr Abels. This doctor made our journey that little bit easier and helped us feel at ease despite our emotional trauma. I have never met a doctor so empathetic and caring. He truly cared about our loss and done everything to make us feel supported. Dr Abels is an absolute credit to his speciality of doctoring and any patient that is looked after by him should feel very lucky. Myself and my husband want to say a massive thank you and would like Dr Abels to know his level of care was greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. Additionally, the early pregnancy nurses were also very caring, understanding and supportive.
