"Infertlity Clinic"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Infertility Service

(as a service user),

Staff were great at settling nerves and distracting me from the discomfort of the procedure. They were very helpful and knowledgable.

One slight downside was the lack of clear signage for the "Infertility Clinic". Which resulted in me having to ask random staff members where to go. Due to the sensitive nature of my visit it was a bit embarrassing. I also feel that the name of this department/clinic is a bit insensitive for woman having to attend for a number of different reasons. Please consider renaming this.

Dear Lyds95,

Thank you for sharing your experience at University Hospital Monklands.

I am so pleased to hear that the staff were reassuring, supportive and knowledgeable when you went for your procedure. This must have been a very worrying time for you and I am sure the kindness of the staff meant a great deal to you.

I have fed back your comments to the leadership team for reflection of the name of the clinic and signage and they will take your comments into consideration.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
