The care and passion I received on ward 5 and on delivery was something I will never forget. I was an inpatient for a while leading to the end of my pregnancy, the midwifes were outstanding. Not just within the care they gave but a friendly face I saw often, popping in for a chat and making the days seem so much more positive.
I can say this about the whole of ward 5, the ladies that came around with meals went above and beyond to make sure you always had meals, snacks, offering of drinks, little extras, lovely friendly ladies. The nurses, all very prompt with medication, if you needed anything before they came round they were always there, some lovely friendships built. The one to one care on delivery made me feel so calm, the girls were just amazing, ive had 3 babies and ive never felt so safe and well cared for before.
