"Amazing care and support"

I had presented to A&E with an issue that was classed as an emergency. I was really well looked after by two nurses both were named Caroline, in the Emergency Department.

From there when i was moved to Level 3 i met Dr Luke and Dr Anna. They were exceptional. As well as the two young nurses that were looking after me in level 3. I think one was named Ciara and i'm sorry i didn't get the other name.

I have been in tremendous pain for the last 18 months and people said to me some day you will meet the right doctor(s) and i finally had that experience. Anna and Luke listened and made me feel like what i was going through so far was valid concerns. My confidence has been lost through a neurology problem.  Seeing doctor Luke and Anna has helped me finally get to the next stage of seeing a neurologist. I had tried really hard with my GP for a long time and had gave up but Anna and Luke has gave me strength to keep going and get some answers.

Anna and Luke as well as the nurses were patient,  professional and empathetic. Anna did my lumbar puncture and really put me at ease for this procedure. The follow up care before discharge was excellent and i could not have asked for a better team to have been looking after me after a very scary 24 hours. I want to say a big thank you and appreciation to that team they make a big difference and i hope i they know that.
