"Maternity and postpartum care"

I was admitted to the hospital mid October 2025 to have a an early c section due to complications during my pregnancy. From the moment I was in the hospital on level 12 maternity assessment unit I was so well cared for and reassured. I was terrified for my baby and myself and I was looked after amazingly. I was admitted to level 13 delivery shortly after and they was incredible. I never felt alone or not listened to.

My c section was the morning after. I was first on the list and was absolutely terrified and so nervous. Every single midwife nurse doctor & anaesthesiologist I met was truly amazing. They held my hand when I was scared and in pain. Made me feel so safe and never left in pain. I’m so grateful for such a beautiful experience and being cared for so well. I hope this reaches the right people and they know that they made my whole experience amazing. I sit with my newborn and just feel so grateful I had the most amazing maternity and post partum experience with her. Thank you so much to everyone on level 12 & 13!
